About Us

The All India Electric Motor Manufacturers Association (AIEMMA) is a registered national body under the relevant Indian Laws, formed way back in 1960 with the intention to promote the interests of the small and medium sized electrical motor manufacturers. The idea was to bring the unorganized segment of the electrical motor industry under a common umbrella. Ever since its inception AIEMMA is affiliated to the Confederation of Indian Industry with its registered office in Mumbai.

Members

Although, the Association draws its membership from all over India, its members are mostly localized in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Coimbatore. Electrical motor manufacturers, ancillary industry like wire manufacturers, casting & stamping manufacturers, testing laboratories, pump manufacturers are also eligible to be members of Associate members of AIEMMA.
We expect more and more motor manufacturers to join us.

Objectives

- To project the small and medium scale motor manufacturers’ capabilities to the Indian market.
- To assign recognition to the small and medium sized motor manufacturers and ancilliary industries at various government for a like the BEE, Ministry of Small and Medium enterprises etc.
- To project the industry capabilities by supporting various trade shows like the Engineering Expo, Gears Motors and Controls show etc.
- To educate and familiarize members with the manufacturing facilities of large corporates by arranging factory visits periodically.
- To organize Buyer Seller meets occasionally to bring together users and manufacturers under one roof.

Management

The Association is managed by the Executive Council headed by the President and two vice Presidents. The Executive Copmmittee meets every month. Members are free to send their queries and suggestions to the executive committee for better functioning of the Association. The same will be addressed bythe EC members.

How to become a member & Membership fees

Companies intending to be members of AIEMMA can download forms online and fees will largely depend on companies’ scale of operations and is payable annually. Duly completed forms may be sent to AIEMMA Secretariat for scrutiny and formal approval by the Executive Committee.
